The Real Madrid star was crowned as the world's best player on Monday night although some United supporters were not best pleased with their team's reaction to the news Furious Manchester United fans have taken to social media to express their anger at the club for posting a tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo. And United felt it necessary to praise their former player, posting an update on their Facebook page that read: "Congratulations to Cristiano Ronaldo... Ballon d'Or winner for an incredible fourth time." Some supporters weren't happy to see the club saluting the Portuguese, despite the fact he achieved so much during his time at Old Trafford.
